The purpose of the forum was to consolidate the efforts of the experts, human rights defenders and scientists to develop recommendations aimed at solving the problems of the application of the criminal and criminal procedure codes.
Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs was presented by rector Andrii Fomenko and associate professor of the Department of operative and search activity and special equipment Dmytro Sanakoiev. Among the participants of the event there were representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Constitutional Council, Supreme Court, General Prosecutor’s Office, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as international experts and scholars.
During the criminological forum, the rector of DSUIA Andrii Fomenko made a welcoming speech. He noted that the exchange of experience, the development of joint strategies at the intergovernmental level is of great importance for universities of the two countries.
According to the results of the educational and professional event, a memorandum of cooperation between the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs and M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University was signed.
In addition, the agreement on further cooperation was signed between Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs and the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to Andrii Fomenko, the signing of the memorandum opens up new perspectives to the teaching staff and higher education graduates. Within the framework of cooperation between higher education institutions of the Dnipro and Astana, exchange of experience and implementation of international projects, joint research and training on tactical and special training will be carried out. The exchange of training methods will make it possible to significantly improve the learning process in the DSUIA and to achieve new success in the process of future police officers preparation.
