The Dnipropetrovsk State University of the Internal Affairs visited with working mission the Chief Superintendent Contingent Commander and Senior Police Advisor of Canadian Police Mission in Ukraine Glenn Martindale.

During the meeting he has communicated with the rectorate of the higher establishment, especially with the rector Andrii Fomenko.

The questions that were viewed within the frames of the communication – the perspectives of the international cooperation, and also the qualification and activity of the practical police units “POLINA”, the joint projects conduction with the teaching staff of the university.

The rector of the state Dnipropetrovsk State University of the Internal Affairs Andrii Fomenko has told more specifically concerning the peculiarities of the policemen practical preparation. Particularly he emphasized, that under the belt of the university – is the long-term experience of the specialists and law enforcement officers preparation.

“We have changed the methodology of the military students, very often for training proving we invite foreign specialists and trainers”. Our lecturers also train during international internship. Moreover, on the base of the university was initiated the activity of the training centers, that allow at possibly high level to prepare modern policemen for the practice” – noticed rector.

Whereas, Glenn Martindale emphasized that at the present moment the cooperation memorandum is being signing between The National police of Ukraine and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
