Actions and Awareness Workshop on “Domestic Violence”

Domestic violence and abuse can happen to anyone, yet the problem if often overlooked, excused, or denied. Domestic abuse often escalates from threats and verbal assault to violence. And while physical injury may pose the most obvious danger, the emotional and psychological consequences of domestic abuse are also serve.

The Austrian Security Academy in cooperation with the Vienna Youth Welfare Council (Ministry of Social Affairs) and the Vienna Board of Education (Ministry of Education), the Czech Police Education and Training Unit and Finnish Police Academy Tampere have jointly elaborated an Actions and Awareness Workshop on “Domestic Violence”.

As the prevention of domestic violence is a challenge for all member countries of AEPC, Association invite employees of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs to the first Actions and Awareness Workshop on “Domestic Violence” to be held from 03-05 June 2019 in Dnipro/Ukraine, hosted by Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.

Please note that the workshop is limited to a maximum number of 3 representatives of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.
