International Police Missions

The German Police University, with the support of the State Bureau for Education, Training and Personnel of the North Rhine-Westphalia Police, is organizing the International Working Session on “International Police Missions”, which will be held from 26 to 28 August 2019 at the campus of the German Police University, located in the city of Munster, Germany.

It is among the aims of this event to provide participants with an in-depth insight into the current situation and standards of international police missions involving the Federal Republic of Germany and the federal states, to strengthen and raise their intercultural skills and competences, to share expertise and be informed about challenges and potentials for further development in international missions and deployments.

The working session will be conducted entirely in English. The audience is expected to comprise senior police officers from Germany and abroad, physicians in the Police Medical Services, police priests and psychologists, as well as senior officials of the German Armed Forces Staff College.
