The representative of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs has recently participated in ІІІ International Scientific Congress «SOCIETY OF AMBIENT INTELLIGENCE 2020».
The International Congress has been held for the third time already, but this time the organizers have found “Responsible Business and Human Rights in the Digital Economy” legal section. Specialists from Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Latvia and Poland worked online exclusively.
DSUIA has been represented by Olena Orlova, associate professor of the General Law Disciplines Department. The lecturer has presented the report on “Business and Human Rights: Dialectics of Interaction”.
The report and accompanying presentation have been prepared in English. In course of her speech Olena Orlova has analyzed in details three international documents regarding business and human rights. Inter alia she stated that recent tendency includes applications to the European Court of Human Rights not only by employees, but also employers.
In general, the Congress has called to establish a multidimensional platform aiming at cooperation between academicians and business to get new knowledge, exchange with information and actual experience as well as study the features of the ambient intelligence society’s technological development under the conditions of digital economy globalization.
Scientific articles have been published by “Atlantis Press” in e-form at www.atlantis-press.com and submitted for indexation in scientific-and-metrical bases CPCI (Web of Science), CNKI and Google Scholar.
The participants of the event have been awarded with the certificates.
