Yuliia Laputina, the Minister for Veterans’ Issues, visited Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs and met with Andrii Fomenko, Rector, Police Colonel.
In terms of the meeting DSUIA Rector presented the activity of the University as well as told about key localities and training centers for future police officers to work out their theoretical knowledge.
According to Andrii Fomenko, practice within the educational process played substantial role for cadets, thus, that very direction was under close attention.
During the meeting the Minister was demonstrated key localities of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. In particular, Yuliia Laputina visited psychological training complex and paid much interest to the rehabilitation process of АТО/JFO veterans and their family members performed by psychologists of the center.
Under the results of the meeting the Minister Yuliia Laputina and DSUIA Rector Andrii Fomenko agreed upon further collaboration.
Besides, the Minister for Veterans’ Issues met with cadets of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. She emphasized the significance of communication between police officers and citizens, since communication is one of key means of implementation of all law enforcement activity directions. DSUIA cadets joined the dialogue and asked questions.
It should be mentioned that Yuliia Laputina took an active part in releasing Kramatorsk in 2014. Moreover, she initiated “Kramatorsk is Ukraine” action supported by other cities. The Minister considers psychological rehabilitation of war veterans to be the most significant task.
