Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs held internship protection in the police quest format. Cadets from Pre-trial Investigation Bodies, Strategic Investigations and Preventive Activity Faculties confirmed their practical skills.
Police quest format for checking knowledge of 3-4 year cadets has been applied, since according to the specialists this very method allowed to simulate practical situations and offer typical police service tasks, while cadets confirmed the level of their professional competencies through solving them.
For instance, in course of the police quest cadets from Pre-trial Investigation Bodies Faculty had an opportunity to check their training level in terms of investigating criminal violations as well as communicate additionally with experienced investigators and criminalists.
Not only DSUIA lecturers, but also invited practitioners from the Strategic Investigations Office of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police as well as the representatives of investigation offices and interregional territorial subdivision of the State Investigation Bureau evaluated skills of cadets from Pre-trial Investigation Bodies Faculty.
Moreover, cadets from Strategic Investigations Faculty worked on the operational information as regards the activity of an organized group dealt with illegal arms trafficking and another one providing services in game business using computer simulators. Besides, guys and girls worked out the skills of making corresponding procedural documents.
University professionals and the representative of the Preventive Activity Department of the Main Office of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region participated in internship protection at the Preventive Activity Faculty.
Service situations for checking knowledge and skills included domestic violence cases worked over in the specially equipped interactive room as well as administrative violations in terms of providing road traffic security.
According to the results of the police quest all cadets demonstrated high level skills, which they had obtained during their studies at DSUIA and internship at practical units of the National Police of Ukraine.
