New Cooperation Direction at DSUIA

Dnipropetrovsk University of Internal Affairs and Territorial Department of the Court Guard Service in Dnipropetrovsk region have negotiated the Memorandum of Cooperation today.

Andrii Fomenko, DSUIA Rector, police colonel, and Serhii Shvacka, head of Territorial Department of the Court Guard Service in Dnipropetrovsk region, have signed the document.

Signing the Memorandum aimed at cooperating and exchanging with information as well as performing mutual scientific and practical activity in terms of providing law supremacy and protecting human and citizen rights and freedoms.

According to Andrii Fomenko signing the Memorandum of Cooperation will become the basis for fruitful collaboration between the institutions.

“You are well aware of our work specific features and training directions of our cadets and students for their further practical activity. I definitely expect to establish efficient collaboration”, Andrii Fomenko emphasized.

“Today we see key goals and understand how we can cooperate. Currently our principle task is to implement new initiatives”, Serhii Shvacka claimed.

Signing the Memorandum stipulates conducting round tables, seminars, trainings, workshops and conferences on such topics as providing civil security at courts, advancing forms and directions of interaction between the Service and subdivisions of the National Police of Ukraine in favour of civil security at courts as well as improving regulatory activity provision of courts and law enforcement bodies, etc.

Besides, it includes engaging the Service representatives to participate in the events with cadets from the Faculty of Preventive Activity and students of Law Faculty. Therefore, professionals will conduct binary classes for listeners, while DSUIA lecturers will fold classes in actual legal topics for the Service staff.

Moreover, DSUIA will host joint tactical-and-special trainings for cadets, which will allow working over providing public security during court hearings, local elections and elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
