The regional round table “Ukrainian military victory – the foundation of statehood” gathered more than 100 participants at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The event is organized by the Department of International Relations and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the National Institute of Law and Innovative Education.
Among the participants of the discussion are scientists, museum employees, representatives of public organizations, as well as students of higher education. In particular, the event was attended by representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Ostroh Academy National University, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Institute of Training of Personnel of the State Employment Service of Ukraine, Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University, University of Customs and of Finance, the National Museum of the Czech Republic, the Dnipro History Museum.
The event was opened and participants were greeted by the vice-rector of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs Larisa Nalivaiko, who emphasized the relevance of the scientific event.
Viktoriya Savishchenko, director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education, said a welcome speech.
The participants of the round table discussed issues related to military conflicts in the context of globalization of international relations, the volunteer movement in Ukraine as a new form of interaction between the government and society, gender aspects of military service, problems and prospects of military education in Ukraine, etc.
Based on the results of the scientific event, the participants approved relevant recommendations for solving the topical issues discussed at the event.
