Employees of the state executive service of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kirovohrad regions completed training under the general short-term training program “Organizational and legal principles and modern tools of public administration” on the basis of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The training took place according to the program agreed upon with the National Civil Service Agency. It covered issues of public administration, prevention of corruption, changes in legislation, European and Euro-Atlantic integration, ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men.
200 employees of the executive service received certificates. The rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Andrii Fomenko, the first vice-rector of the police, colonel Oleksandr Yunin, the director of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education Viktoriya Savishchenko, acting Head of the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice (Dnipro) Oleksandr Bilchuk, First Deputy of the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice (Dnipro) Olga Zakharova have greeted the listeners.
In his welcoming speech, the Rector of the State University of Higher Education Andriy Fomenko noted that the Department of Justice is the main stakeholder and partner of the university in the training of future lawyers.
“Over the years of cooperation, more than 15,000 students have completed internships on the basis of management, we have jointly conducted many scientific activities, the resolutions of which have found their implementation in legal practice. For many of our graduates, the first workplace became the state justice system,” he said, stressing that the improvement of qualifications of employees of the state executive service on the basis of the educational institution is evidence of the expansion of cooperation.
Acting Head of the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice (Dnipro) Oleksandr Bilchuk congratulated the completion of their studies and wished further professional success to the employees of the executive service.
In his speech, he thanked Andrii Fomenko and the staff of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs for their cooperation and presented certificates of honor.
