From the first day of the war, they are always the first on the scene. Risking their own lives, rescuers do the same thing as our military – they protect Ukrainians in their place. Today, employees of the State Emergency Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region received personal protective equipment.
Charitable aid was presented as part of the implementation of the Ukrainian-American humanitarian program “Be Brave Like Ukraine”.
The founders of the program – the rector of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Andrii Fomenko and the president of the public organization “Dnipro Medical Cluster”, the director of the Charity Fund “Gene Fund of the Future” Hanna Kyrychenko handed over 55 gas masks and 200 medical individual first-aid kits to the rescuers of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Personal protective equipment was received and handed over to subordinates by the head of the Main Department of the State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, Major General of the Civil Protection Service, Yurii Koretskyi.
Those present congratulated each other on New Year’s holidays, wished for a speedy victory and peace.
