Scientific and pedagogical staff of the TST department held a class on UAV training flights on simulators (trainers) for 1st-year cadets.
Today, holding training flights on simulators (trainers) and control of UAV in conditions close to real ones has gained an important role in the training process of DSUIA.
A class for 1st-year cadets was held at the “UAV Headquarter” training ground: this training ground is equipped with a virtual board and simulators for virtual flights.
Having passed the practical class, students of higher education gained general knowledge of the classification of UAVs, various simulators for training UAV operators and conducted their first virtual flights.
Real drone remote controls were connected to the simulator programs to make the conditions of UAV control training the closest to the real ones.
The training of future operators of unmanned aerial vehicles on simulators with specialized software will allow improving their proper theoretical training and practicing a wide range of educational components pertaining to the direct control of an unmanned aerial vehicle in real conditions.
