Serhii Vyshnevskyi, who is the Head of the Psychological Department of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, won the competition, completed the training and was recorded at the All-Ukrainian Register of Psychologists.
The training was organized within the project on “Providing psychological support and ensuring justice as a component of better care for vulnerable children” supported by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Office in Ukraine.
Psychologists that were recorded at the specified Register can be involved in criminal proceedings pertaining to minors through regional centers for providing free secondary legal assistance.
The recording of Serhii Vyshnevskyi at the All-Ukrainian Expert Register will allow the processing of requests from law enforcement officers directly by DSUIA in the “Child-Friendly Crisis Room” and in strict compliance with international standards of justice.
