A training session for CEPOL teachers and trainers took place in Thessaloniki, Greece. The event was held in order to improve the professional competences of the participants. Ukraine was represented by Anastasiia Filipp who is an associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the National Institute of Law and Training of Specialists for the National Police Units of DSUIA.
Representatives of the European Union also took part in the “CEPOL TRAIN-THE-TRAINERS 2023” training. Anastasiia Filipp became the only representative of Ukraine in this event.
Anastasiia Filipp noted that participation in the event which became the final part of the series of training, made it possible to increase competence in applying modern police training methods and gain additional experience in the use of interactive training methods for police officers according to international standards which were adopted as a positive experience and will be applied in the training of students of DSUIA.
The acquired knowledge and skills can be used in the educational process as well as for the development of a cycle of training on the use of interactive training methods for the police officers according to international standards on the basis of DSUIA.
