A meeting of cadets of the Faculty of Specialists Training for Criminal Police with Dmytro Panchenko, the President of the Aeromodelling Sports Federation of the Dnipropetrovsk region, took place at the training ground of DSUIA.
Dmytro Panchenko is the manufacturer of “Chaklun” UAVs. He told the cadets about the types of aircraft-type UAVs and their advantages over helicopter-type UAVs in police work. Attention was focused on the duration of the flight, the transportation of a larger amount of the target load, multifunctionality, and modularity.
The aircraft-type UAV “Chaklun” was shown to the cadets. They learned what it is used for, its design, and its control elements.
Dmytro Panchenko said that the prospect of using unmanned aerial vehicles by the National Police was to perform border control and protect the territorial integrity of the state, prevent accidents, detect fires, rescue people and provide assistance in eliminating the consequences of accidents and disasters, as well as prevent and counteract environmental crimes.
