The leadership of DSUIA organized a working meeting with representatives of the Lyceum № 139 of the Dnipro City Council with the aim of training scientific and pedagogical workers of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs to conduct high-quality classes under the program of upgrading the qualifications of police officers to ensure security in educational institutions.
Vladyslav Polushkin, lyceum director, familiarized the teachers with current issues pertaining to the creation of a safe environment in educational institutions, outlined the main features of working with schoolchildren, etc.
Tetyana Bychkova, the Head of the Department of Life Safety and Social Protection of the Education Department of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council, explained the legal basis of the activities of educational institutions and emphasized the importance of creating favorable conditions for children to study and stay in schools during wartime.
The teachers of DSUIA had the opportunity to ask questions, the answers to which would be useful during the educational process.
Representatives of DSUIA saw the conditions in which the lyceum works and visited the shelter. The result of the meeting will be high-quality training for police officers, who are planned to be involved in improving the security component in secondary education institutions during the implementation of the “Security Officer” project.
