The course was held with the assistance of the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and with the participation of instructors from TetraTech (USA) at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. Oleksandr Morhunov, the rector of DSUIA, met with the listeners.
Representatives of higher education institutions with specific learning conditions under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, higher education institutions of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as well as employees of the Main National Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region, took part in the course.
Attendees explored the following topics: non-technical surveying (NTS); mine and explosive ordnance risk education (EORE); survey techniques and public relations skills; and topography and drone use.
At the end of the training, Oleksandr Morhunov, the rector of DSUIA, met with the students. The head of the university noted that the knowledge and skills acquired during the course will be fully implemented in the educational process.
Drones that can be used in the implementation of the course in the educational process were handed over to representatives of higher education institutions.
The participants received appropriate certificates upon completion of the training.
