A report-election conference of the trade union organization was held at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Oleksandr Morgunov, rector of the university, and a police colonel, opened the event.
Volodymyr Sagaydak, the head of the primary trade union organization at the university, reported on the work for three years. The work of the organization was recognized as satisfactory by the majority of those present.
The issue of the election of the chairman and members of the trade union committee of the primary organization of the trade union of DSUIA was considered. Volodymyr Kovbasa, the assistant rector of the university, was elected to the position of head of the body by open voting.
Volodymyr Kovbasa expressed his commitment to advancing the interests and rights of the employees of DSUIA and ensuring their protection.
