Experience and Reality: DSUIA Hosts Meeting with “Volyn” Military Battalion

The event took place in a warm and informal atmosphere, contributing to the enhancement of the future law enforcement officers’ sense of patriotism.

First-year students of the Institute of Law and Training Specialists for Units of the National Police had the opportunity to interact with a soldier from the 3rd Separate “Volyn” Battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army.

During the conversation, the Ukrainian soldier shared how his life changed with the onset of full-scale invasion. He imparted his experience and the realities of war to the cadets, highlighting the bravery and heroism of Ukrainian fighters during the defense and liberation of occupied territories.

Additionally, the topic of volunteering and the crucial support from the rear for the frontlines were discussed during the meeting. In turn, the cadets acquainted the soldier with initiatives they regularly engage in during their free time from studies, such as crafting power banks from used electronic devices for soldiers, blood donation, sewing pillows, humanitarian collections, and knitting camouflage nets.
