Understanding the cost of victory: cadets of the National Law University continue their screenings of documentary films

NEWS

As part of the weekend schedule and with the aim of patriotic education, cadets of the Institute of Law and Training for Specialists of the National Police Units watched the documentary film “War at Zero Kilometer.”

The film tells the stories of border guards who heroically defended the territorial integrity of our state as part of the units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine from May to September 2014. They were the first to experience what a military invasion is. In particular, in the area of the checkpoints “Izvaryne” and “Dovzhansky,” border guards and military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine found themselves in an enemy encirclement and spent 21 days almost completely surrounded. From the territory of the Russian Federation, gradually increasing the caliber and power of weapons, they were subjected to constant shelling by enemy artillery.

Cadets are confident: this film reminds us of the price at which the enemy’s onslaught is held back and shows the heroes of our time, their faces and names, which we should be proud of, the stories of which should not be forgotten.
