The Ukraine Cup took place in Dnipro and gathered over 230 participants of various ages.
The DSUIA team was represented by 8 athletes: cadets from the Institute of Law and Training of Specialists for Units of the National Police Vlad Hamiy, Daniel Thomas, Sergiy Kornienko, Yaroslav Osipik, and Illya Chenchyk, as well as cadets from the Faculty of Criminal Police Arthur Burda, Bohdan Kurilekh, and Arseniy Zakharov. The team was coached by the head of the Special Physical Training Department, Viktor Boguslavsky.
The participants engaged in spectacular fights and demonstrated excellent results, four of which brought prize medals to the DSUIA collection of sports achievements. Sergiy Kornienko became the freestyle fighting champion of Ukraine, while silver medals were awarded to Daniel Thomas and Arthur Burda, and bronze was earned by Vlad Hamiy.
