The ceremony was held at the parade ground of the university. The graduates will now serve in the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine.
The official event began with the National Anthem. A minute of silence was observed to honor the memory of law enforcement officers who perished in the line of duty and as a result of armed aggression by the Russian Federation.
The director of the Zaporizhzhia Center for Primary Vocational Training, the Police Academy, Mykola Nazarenko, addressed the audience with welcoming remarks. He wished the graduates energy, perseverance, personal resilience, wisdom, and professional growth. He urged them to serve the Ukrainian people with dignity, always stand up for its values and freedoms.
During the event, the graduates were awarded their diplomas.
