At the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, the winners of the declamation competition were congratulated

On the occasion of the 210th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth, a literary competition “My Shevchenko” was held at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.

The event was organized with the aim of engaging university students in the literary legacy of the Ukrainian national genius. Addressing all attendees, the First Vice-Rector of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, Ihor Magdalina, noted that in the works of Taras Shevchenko, one can vividly see how a true Ukrainian should relate to his family and his homeland.

Participants in the competition included students from the Faculty of Law and Training of Specialists for Units of the National Police, the Faculty of Training of Specialists for Units of the Criminal Police, and the Faculty of Training of Specialists for Units of Preventive Activities.

The key criteria for selecting the winners were the artistic level and originality in the performance of poetry. According to the results of the competition, the first place was awarded to Olena Lukyanenko. The second place was shared by Vitalina Ivashko and Maria Khlyvna. The third place went to Dmytro Lysenko, Ilona Buyakova, and Anastasiia Dvirna. The winners received commemorative certificates.
