The university participated in the TitansUA project and organized a table tennis training session for veteran participants.
The social and educational project TitansUA, aimed at supporting wounded military personnel and other representatives of the security and defense sector, was presented by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak. The initiative is implemented to rehabilitate and integrate veterans into all spheres of regional life.
Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs joined the project by hosting the first table tennis training session for veterans. The event was attended by the deputy heads of the regional administration, Irina Grytsay and Nadiya Zadorozhna. The Titans were trained by the Ukrainian table tennis champion, Vasyl Koval.
Rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, Oleksandr Morgunov, emphasized that supporting veterans is the duty of Ukrainian citizens. The university consistently provides comprehensive support, helps defenders rehabilitate, participate in sports events and initiatives, offers opportunities for higher education and employment, as well as training in driving for people with disabilities, among other things.
