Cadet of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs Denis LUSHPAYEV took first place at the European MMA Championship.
The European Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championship took place in Belgrade (Serbia). Among the participants of the Championship was a cadet of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Training of Specialists for Units of the National Police of DSUIA, a representative of the National Mixed Martial Arts Federation in Ukraine Denis LUSHPAYEV (PI-341).
The athlete competed in three matches: in the first fight, he defeated his compatriot, in the second, he won by submission against a representative from Israel in the second round, and in the final, he secured victory over a fighter from Bulgaria. By unanimous decision of the judges, Denis LUSHPAYEV won the “gold” in the age category of 16-17 years, weighing up to 93 kg.
