The event took place on the occasion of the birthday of Oles Honchar at the National Technical University “Dniprovska Polytechnika.”
The participation of cadets in the meeting was organized by the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Foreign Languages of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. The All-Ukrainian Gonchar Readings “The Word of Oles Honchar: Voice of Generations” take place annually before the writer’s birthday and are a vivid spiritual and educational event.
Professor Anatoliy Popovsky delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing that Oles Honchar is a spiritual leader, a herald, and a creator of Ukraine’s revival, a giant of spirit who became a spiritual leader of the nation in his lifetime, his conscience.
DSUIA cadet Kseniya Graur performed the song “My Ukraine” for the participants.
