During the session, tactical actions of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine rescuers and firefighters were discussed and the training exercise “Strongest Firefighter-Rescuer” was performed.
For the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs students, a joint practical training session was held with experienced rescue service instructors at the State Emergency Service of Ukraine training ground.
The students were shown the tactics of rescue units during emergencies, provided information on the use of firefighting equipment, etc. The students personally attempted to perform the standards of firefighters.
The cadets performed climbing to the training tower and delivering one roll of fire hoses there and lifting another roll using a rescue rope; practiced descent of a rescuer from the training tower; worked with a power trainer; laid a working line and deployed a hose for target filling; conducted transportation of a simulated casualty – a mannequin.
