History, Painting, Musical Performances: Cultural Weekend for DSUIA Cadets

NEWS

With the aim of comprehensive and harmonious personal development, the students of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs regularly attend cultural events in the city.

For instance, the second-year cadets of the Faculty of Law and Training for Units of the National Police visited the exhibition “Torn Edge” at the “Artswit” gallery. Future law enforcement officers explored the artistic endeavors of Tetiana Pukhnavtseva: the author presented several series executed in different graphic techniques. The elements of land art – a “patch” made of wormwood covered with ash and coal – impressed the students the most.

Meanwhile, the third-year students of the Institute attended a personal exhibition by Olena Nikitenkova: her exposition featured well-known works, including author’s dolls, watercolors, paintings, and even handmade jewelry. During the viewing, the cadets had the opportunity to enjoy musical accompaniment – meditations on bowls by Natalia Patyka.

The cadets’ program also included a visit to the Dnipropetrovsk National Historical Museum named after D. I. Yavornytsky. There, the students explored the ancient history of the region, saw unique archaeological, artistic, and everyday life artifacts.

Cadets actively participate in educational and artistic events because they are convinced that without knowledge of history and culture, it is impossible to build a country and its future.
