Cadets of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs watched a documentary about the defense of Kyiv.
The film was created through the efforts of war journalist Andriy Tsaplyenko with the participation of American expert John Spencer. It focuses on the first days of full-scale invasion and contains unique video materials and comments from participants.
Cadets learned about the Kremlin’s plans to capture the Ukrainian capital, as well as the heroic resistance of our soldiers in the armed confrontation near Moschun. It was there that the Ukrainian army held back the advance of the “elite” Russian airborne troops for over 2 weeks.
Future law enforcement officers emphasized the importance of creating such films, as they document the grim reality and the price Ukrainians have to pay in the struggle to preserve independence.
