The regional championship in Greco-Roman wrestling took place in Dnipro. Among the gold medalists of the tournament was a cadet of the Criminal Police Faculty of DSUIA named Artem Sokolyuk.
The regional competitions brought together over 90 athletes from various parts of Dnipropetrovsk region, who competed in several weight categories. The average age of the participants was 18-20 years.
Artem Sokolyuk competed in the category up to 82 kg: he had a total of 6 opponents and fought in 4 matches. He managed to finish each match with a victory – he took the first place, and now the nationwide stage awaits him.
