Cadets of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs regularly participate in open court sessions

NEWS

Cadets visit open court sessions at the Zhovtnevy District Court on a daily basis.

They have the opportunity to observe the conduct of preparatory proceedings and judicial hearings in the court of first instance as part of optional classes in the “Criminal Procedure” discipline. These educational visits are organized by the Department of Criminal Procedure and Strategic Investigations of the DSUIA.

During these sessions, cadets familiarize themselves with the implementation process of the norms of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine by participants in criminal proceedings. They study the procedure for considering motions, applications, and complaints by the investigating judge, including in conditions of a state of war.

Such sessions help future law enforcement officers master knowledge of criminal procedural law and better prepare for practical activities.
