A session was conducted by Sergiy VYSHNEVSKY, the head of the Department of Psychological Support at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, for consultants of the “Equal-to-Equal” program.
During the event, the main directions of the consultants’ activities were discussed, highlighting the differences between psychologists and program participants, as well as the scope and boundaries of their responsibilities.
An open discussion took place where consultants shared problematic issues that could hinder receiving psychological assistance. Among the attendees were cadets who personally expressed a desire to acquire knowledge and additional skills in psychology. A significant advantage of participating in the program is the opportunity to restore and enhance one’s own internal resources.
At the end of the session, all interested individuals personally tried relaxation exercises and resourceful art therapy techniques, after which they noted positive changes in their emotional state.
The program entails further meetings and training for consultants.
