Winners of the “Counter-Strike 2” tournament were awarded by the Rector, Alexander MORGUNOV.
The event was organized with the aim of popularizing eSports and providing cadets with the opportunity to showcase their skills in this activity, promoting teamwork, exchanging experiences, and attracting the attention of prospective students to DSUIA. Students of higher education and participants of preparatory courses at DSUIA took part in the event.
At the beginning of the game, Rector Alexander MORGUNOV addressed the participants, wishing them productive competitions and high results. First Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Igor MAGDALINA, also observed the tournament.
The organizers of the competition emphasize the importance of such tournaments, as they involve the main elements of the “Counter-Strike 2” gameplay, including strategy, team coordination, shooting skills, tactical thinking, positioning skills, and the ability to make quick decisions in extreme situations. These qualities are also extremely important for future law enforcement officers.
According to the results of the game, the team of the Institute of Law and Training of Specialists for Units of the National Police took first place, the team of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Units of the Criminal Police took second place, and the team of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Units of Preventive Activities took third place.
Rector Alexander MORGUNOV awarded the winners with certificates and gifts.
