DDUIA continues boxing and table tennis training for military personnel

NEWS, Sport for military veterans

Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs is a participant in the “TitansUA” project: as part of the implementation of this initiative, weekly training sessions are held at the higher education institution.

The training sessions are conducted under the guidance of experienced instructors from the Department of Special Physical Training at DSUIA, as well as tennis coaches, including Vasyl KOVAL, who is the Ukrainian Table Tennis Champion. Sports rehabilitation allows individuals to feel their importance in the team, demonstrate their individual skills and talents, and integrate into society. The variety and versatility of exercises allow selecting the most suitable ones for each specific athlete, including individuals with disabilities.

One of the training directions is boxing. The training was attended by the rector of DSUIA, Oleksandr MORGUNOV, who personally communicated with the fighters and wished them success in their sports endeavors, as well as Gennadiy POLYAKOV, an experienced coach and representative of the Cossack martial arts school (today, he is a member of the Third Separate Assault Brigade).

The training brought together all those interested in actively spending time beneficial for physical and mental health and meeting like-minded individuals. Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs invites everyone to boxing, wrestling, and table tennis training sessions every Wednesday and Thursday at 3:00 PM.
