A master class was held for the applicants, where they had the opportunity to learn how to make a poppy flower – the symbol of Victory Day over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945.
The poppy flower is a symbol of the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism.
On the eve, specialists from the Department of Educational, Social-Humanitarian, and Cultural-Mass Work of the DSUIA conducted a master class on making the symbol from felt and cardboard. During the process, the applicants discussed the history of the symbol, which they wear on May 8th in memory of all those who perished in the Second World War.
