The students of the Zaporizhzhia Center for Primary Professional Training “Police Academy” of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs acquired skills in practical arrangement and fortification of fortification structures at the tactical range.
The session was conducted by instructors from the Department of Tactical and Special Training of DSUIA along with specialists from the engineering service of the National Guard of Ukraine. The purpose of conducting engineering training sessions is to refine the personnel’s methods of executing tasks in engineering support of units’ actions. At the range, arrangements for the placement of a mechanized platoon in the trench area of the company’s support point were practiced, and skills in identifying locations and equipping fire positions to cover checkpoints by digging trenches were mastered.
