The Faculty of Training Specialists for Units of the Criminal Police organized a flower-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Eternal Glory and an informational session.
On the eve of Victory Day over Nazism in World War II and the victory, cadets laid flowers at the Monument to the Eternal Glory and honored the memory of the fallen with a moment of silence. The cadets also initiated poetry recitals on patriotic themes.
An informational session on the topic “Remembering World War II: Between Politics and Family Experiences of Dnipro Residents” took place at DSUIA. During the meeting, representatives of the Dnipropetrovsk National Historical Museum named after D.I. Yavornytskyi shared insights into the historical events and facts of that war.
The cadets are convinced that thorough research of history by contemporaries will enable them to appreciate the value of peace and transmit it to future generations.
