The annual conference of the Department of Humanities and Police Psychology at DDUVS gathered scientists and practitioners from various regions of Ukraine.
Scientists, educators, representatives of various law enforcement structures, as well as public organizations from over 10 regions, discussed the current issues related to the formation, functioning, and development of civil society institutions.
The conference was opened by the university’s vice-rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr YUNIN, who noted that after February 24, 2022, the world has changed, and Ukraine is experiencing a unique historical period associated with gaining subjectivity: as a self-sufficient society developing towards the formation of a legal social state, a powerful civil society capable of independently representing its interests on the international arena.
The moderator of the conference, Kyrylo NEDRIA, emphasized that “effectively, there is currently a test of society’s ability to ensure resources through institutions: economic, political, social, cultural. And all of this is being done in the conditions of a war unleashed by the aggressor and for the sake of Victory. And we constantly prove our ability both on the battlefield and in all other spheres of life.”
