A six-hour course was conducted at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs by experts from the training center “KoLeSo” (Zaporizhzhia).
The training for cadets followed the ASM (All Service Members) level protocol of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), which is used by NATO countries. This is a basic level of tactical assistance designed for all military personnel.
Under the guidance of trainers, cadets learned to respond to various types of critical situations that may arise during combat missions: they practiced quickly and effectively applying bandages, using improvised means to provide pre-medical care in red, yellow, and green zones. They attempted to evacuate the wounded and work effectively as a team to achieve results.
The training included intensive simulation of real combat scenarios. This allowed cadets to practice emergency medical skills in conditions of limited resources and stress. As organizers note, due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, these knowledge and skills become critically important for future law enforcement officers.
Upon completion of the training, participants were awarded relevant certificates.
