The university presented the benefits of education, educational opportunities, and available training directions at the annual professional fair.
The event traditionally took place in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after T. Shevchenko. The welcoming remarks to all attendees were delivered by the first vice-rector of DSUIA, Ihor MAGDALIN. He wished future applicants to make the right choice.
At the location, teachers and representatives of the student self-government of DSUIA greeted guests. Prospective students and parents received consultations regarding entrance exams, document submission deadlines, organization of the educational process, and prospects for graduates’ employment. Visitors were informed about educational programs, as well as the university’s sporting, creative, scientific, and volunteer activities.
Everyone interested had the opportunity to experience the role of law enforcement officers: they examined the contents of a forensic kit, tried fingerprinting, and identified counterfeit banknotes. They also learned how to handle road traffic accidents and took a test wearing drunk-driving simulation goggles, which vividly illustrate the dangers of driving under the influence.
Additionally, visitors were presented with a police car and firearm samples, and useful workshops were conducted by cadets. Among them were basics of pre-medical assistance, key self-defense techniques, and apprehension of offenders.
