Over 600 participants from educational institutions of the city and region will take part in the training.

The event is organized with the support of the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.

The All-Ukrainian children’s and youth military-patriotic game “Sokil” (“Dzhura”) in the direction of “Dzhura-Police” is held with the aim of national-patriotic education of children and youth. It cultivates patriotic citizens, defenders of state independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The training takes place at specially prepared locations of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs in three directions – intellectual-artistic, military-applied, and police-applied.

During the passage of the intellectual-artistic complex “Cossack Fun”, participants competed in the intellectual quiz game “Vidun”, listened to lectures on the history of Ukraine, learned about the history of the Zaporizhzhian Cossacks and the current state of the country, and underwent tests.

The “Cossack Triumph” complex included military-applied elements – the formation contest and the march song “Order”, during which each formation demonstrated skill in performing formation elements, presented the name and formation motto. Participants tested their strength in overcoming “Obstacle Courses”, studied the material part of automatic weapons, and competed in shooting in an interactive shooting range.

The police-applied complex included the police quest “Guardians of Law and Order” and the police basic training course “Use of UAVs”.

During the quest, participants had to uncover the proposed “crime” by completing tasks at each location, where they received hints, restored a damaged photo, used gadgets to read QR codes, revived a simulated victim, and so on.

As part of the UAV usage course, participants learned about the types, structure, and functions of unmanned aerial vehicles, and practiced basic control skills using simulators.

Upon completion of the second stage, a five-day camp will be held for participants and their mentors.
