The event was conducted by the Psychological Support Department of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs. Certificates were presented to the participants by First Vice-Rector Ihor MAGDALINA.
Junior commanders of the 3rd year of the Institute of Law and Training for the National Police Units participated in the training. During the course, fundamental guidelines for providing help, the rescue conversation algorithm for suicide prevention (gatekeeper), establishing contact, inviting dialogue, and connecting individuals to social support resources were discussed.
The cadets practiced modeling gatekeeper conversations, while also focusing on managing their own psycho-emotional state and familiarizing themselves with stress management techniques.
At the end of the event, First Vice-Rector Ihor MAGDALINA awarded the participants with corresponding certificates.
