This week, more than 200 participants, including students and trainees from city and regional educational institutions, attended training sessions under the “Dzhura-Policeman” program.
The training encompasses three directions and is conducted at specially equipped locations within the DSUIA campus.
The intellectual and artistic complex “Cossack Fun” offered participants the opportunity to compete in the quiz game “Vidun,” which focuses on the history of Zaporizhian Cossacks and current issues of state-building.
The “Cossack Prowess” complex allowed boys and girls to practice military-applied techniques. Here, they worked on drill elements, navigated obstacle courses, learned the mechanics of automatic weapons, and tested their skills in an interactive shooting range.
The third complex, the police-applied section, included a police quest focused on crime-solving and a training course on using UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). Participants learned about different types, structures, and functions of UAVs and practiced basic piloting skills.
The second stage of the “Dzhura” game will conclude with a five-day camp involving mentors and participants.
The event is organized and supported by the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). The goal of the military-patriotic game is to foster national and patriotic education among children and youth.
