DSUIA Hosts Dissertation Defense

A session of the one-time specialized academic council took place at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).

The council was chaired by Dr. Boris Logvynenko, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Professor of the Department of Administrative Law, Process, and Administrative Activities at DSUIA.

Natalia Koshlyak presented her dissertation research to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Law, specializing in “Law,” on the topic “Institutional Mechanism for Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine: Theoretical and Legal Characteristics.”

Her scientific advisor was Dr. Larysa Nalyvaiko, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, and Assistant to the Rector of DSUIA on Gender Issues.

Reviewers:

– Dr. Valentina Boniak, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law at DSUIA.

– Evgenia Minakova, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, and Associate Professor of the Department of General Legal Disciplines at DSUIA.

Opponents:

– Dr. Natalia Kaminska, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Professor of the Department of International Law and Comparative Jurisprudence at the National Aviation University.

– Oleksandr Perederiy, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, and Associate Professor of the Department of International and European Law of the Faculty of Law at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Based on the results of the open voting, the specialized academic council awarded Natalia Koshlyak the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Law, specializing in 081 Law.
