The event was organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association to deepen the knowledge and improve the skills of higher education students in the field of criminal procedure and law by sharing the experience of the best practicing lawyers in Ukraine.

More than 100 law students from various cities across Ukraine participated in the school.

The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) was represented by cadets from the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Training Specialists for National Police Units: Alina Soldatenko, Anastasia Pomaz, Bohdan Migrin, Vladyslav Putsakov, Ihor Yermolayev, Viktoria Horokhovska, and university adjuncts Tetiana Badalova and Yuliia Tkach.

The event featured leading experts in the field of criminal justice, including judges of the Supreme Court and the High Anti-Corruption Court, prosecutors, lawyers, and representatives of pre-trial investigation bodies. Topics discussed included: the investigation of crimes against national security foundations; cybersecurity and cybercrime; and the specifics of conducting interrogations using the “procedural interview” method.

Participation in the school provided university cadets the opportunity to demonstrate and deepen their knowledge of criminal law and procedure, develop practical skills through interactive sessions led by renowned Ukrainian lawyers, and achieve numerous victories in these interactive segments.

The university team presented the work of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Strategic Investigations to the event speakers. These presentations focused on themes of the All-Ukrainian School, including the application of agreements, conducting procedural interviews, and the interaction between investigators and operational units.
