Cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) have completed their service, during which they performed tasks to ensure public safety and order near the state border during the martial law period.
Thirteen cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units at DSUIA served for a month alongside border guards and law enforcement officers in the Zakarpattia region, near the state border of Ukraine.
The future law enforcement officers were stationed at the Vylok, Khizha, and Zabolottia outposts, performing police duties such as serving in daily patrols, manning checkpoints, checking individuals’ documents, conducting personal searches and inspections, and assisting in escorting detained violators to the border service office.
As a result of their service, nine representatives from DSUIA were awarded certificates of commendation by the leadership of the border detachment named after the Heroes of Carpathian Sich.
