“Current Issues in Operational and Investigative Activities During Martial Law”: Quiz for DSUIA Cadets

The event was organized by the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities among the teams of the 2nd-year students from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units and the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities Units.

During the first stage stage, team captains alternately posed questions to the opposing team. After a discussion, one team member provided the answer.

The second stage was as Brain-Ring Format. Participants were asked to answer 10 questions regarding their knowledge of the Law of Ukraine “On Operational and Investigative Activities,” the “Instruction on the Organization of Interaction between Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies and Other Bodies and Units of the National Police of Ukraine in Preventing, Detecting, and Investigating Criminal Offenses” (interaction in the referral of materials by the operational unit to the pre-trial investigation body based on the results of operational and investigative activities), and general provisions of the “Instruction on the Organization of Covert Investigative (Search) Actions and the Use of Their Results in Criminal Proceedings.”

The third stage: Captain’s Contest. Questions were posed simultaneously to the captains of both teams, and they answered in order of precedence.

Based on the results of the quiz, the team from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities Units emerged victorious. The team from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units took second place. The most active participants were recognized as Andriy Sotnikov (PA-233), Oleg Zhuravlyov (PA-233), Dmytro Horpynych (CP-235), and Anna Mohylenko (PA-232).
