Representatives from the student and cadet self-governance body of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) took part in a two-day training session organized by the Foundation of Regional Initiatives.
Maria Khivna and Violetta Vazhenkova, students from DSUIA, joined the training. During the training, held as part of the “Innovative Informal School of Activism,” trainers from Dnipro, Vinnytsia, and Kharkiv provided participants with a thorough understanding of civic activities, tools for influencing the life of the city and region, project management details and nuances, the algorithm for cooperation with the community and executive authorities.
The students learned how to create their own projects beneficial to society in both wartime and peacetime, and the mechanism for implementing initiatives from idea to real results.
According to the students, such training is very useful for representatives of the student youth, as it provides an opportunity to develop in the field of civic activism and help make their city better and more comfortable for its residents.
