Higher education students of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) are mastering the skills of constructing fortification structures at a tactical training ground.
Engineering training classes continue at DSUIA, where cadets learn to build fortification structures. During the training, skills in establishing a mechanized squad position on a section of the trench at a platoon strongpoint were practiced. Special attention was given to setting up firing positions for covering checkpoints.
Cadets constructed trench pathways, reinforced the walls of trenches, and strengthened parapets. The classes were conducted by instructors from the Department of Tactical and Special Training of DSUIA, with assistance from specialists of the engineering service of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The engineering training sessions will continue to refine the skills and abilities in setting up positions for personnel in field conditions and performing tasks related to the engineering support of unit operations.
