The state certification for first (bachelor’s) level higher education applicants is currently underway at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). The certification is being conducted for students from the Institute of Part-Time Education and Advanced Training.
The examination commissions include experts from DSUIA and heads of practical units of the National Police of Ukraine, such as:
– Major of Police Natalia Shychkina, Deputy Head of the Department of Prevention Activities of the National Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk Region;
– Lieutenant Colonel of Police Denys Petukhov, Battalion Commander of the 3rd Patrol Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk Region;
– Captain of Police Ivan Veklych, Commander of a Patrol Police Company;

The state certification is conducted in the format of a police quest. These include practical exercises on topics such as “Prevention and Counteraction to Domestic Violence,” “Traffic Management and Accident Investigation,” among others.
The certification process is overseen by Ruslan Lupyr, DSUIA’s authorized representative for the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy.
Members of the examination commissions noted that the applicants skillfully utilize the categorical apparatus and knowledge acquired during their studies, as well as the practical experience gained during their internships.
